The latter half of 2021 is set to once again see Battlefield clash with Call of Duty, which is rumoured to be titled Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard, developed by Sledgehammer Games. We won't have to wait very long for an official confirmation if the reveal is right around the corner. As with all leaks, though, take these images with a grain of salt. Battlefield 6 is shaping up to be a great return to form for the series - at least back to the days of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 that used a modern setting. The last two Battlefield games primarily focused on World War I and World War II, so this change of pace is welcomed for the franchise. This also gives weight to the rumours that Battlefield 6 would have a modern setting, perhaps with some futuristic liberties taken.
